On 4.5 mm, 2 purl stitches are cast on at the front for the steek, and the body is joined and knitted in the round from chart 1 — big hearts above the hem, then rows of small chevrons, crosses and motifs in eight colours. Sizes 6 and 8 leave out the marked parts of the charts. The sleeves start with 5 rounds of moss stitch on 3.5 mm double-pointed needles and are knitted from chart 2, with 2 stitches increased every 8th round. Body and sleeves are joined for the round yoke: a 39-round chart with a row of big hearts and smaller motifs, with six decrease rounds worked in the chart. The front is machine-sewn and cut open. The moss-stitch bands are knitted from the held stitches with a 3-stitch facing that covers the cut edge, and sewn on. A moss-stitch neckband follows, then the white hood, knitted back and forth and grafted at the top.

Design: Védís Jónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 26 (no. 1), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/lopi26-asa-cover-1_5bc3d729-fe4e-44da-a9f7-60ffcab8d16d.jpg?v=1790996715
