Though the list leaves them out, you also need stitch holders, 4 stitch markers and a tapestry needle.

How it is knitted
Both versions: the body is cast on on the 3 mm circular, knitted in K2, P2 rib for 7 cm and then in stocking stitch on 4 mm to the underarm. The sleeves start with 7 cm of K2, P2 rib, gain 15 (15, 17) stitches on the first round on 4 mm and are then increased under the arm; they have no colour border. After body and sleeves are joined, raglan-style decreases come first — k2tog and k2tog tbl either side of the four joins on every other round, 3 to 5 times depending on size and version — and then the 51-round yoke chart: the anchors, then the zigzag bands, decreased in six rounds; the smaller sizes leave out marked rounds. The neckline is K1, P1 rib on 3 mm — 3 cm on the pullover, 3 rounds on the cardigan — bound off very loosely. The cardigan’s hem rib is knitted back and forth with a purl stitch at each edge; the body is then joined in the round and those 2 purl stitches run up the centre front to the neck. They are machine-sewn twice and cut between the rows of stitching, and K2, P2 bands of 6 rows are picked up along the fronts; the buttonhole band has 7 (8, 8) buttonholes of a yarn-over and k2tog.

Design: Guðrún Ragna Sigurjónsdóttir — pattern from Lopi No. 30 (no. 21), Ístex.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1662/1057/files/L30_21_Ankeri_3_41782f37-65aa-467d-8139-d23080d8d423.jpg?v=1791020201
